First food last night! She'll be 5 months on the 24th and tried oatmeal cereal for the first time last night. We'll do this for a week or so then move on to purees per our pediatricians recommendation. What first foods are your babies liking?

My littles turns 5 months on the first of July. We did oatmeal cereal for a couple days and he did great. He loves his cereal!  Next we tried bananas for 3 days....wasnt a big hit...then today we did we tried carrots and he seemed to like those!

My little guy loves carrots, we are on day 4 of carrots and will be trying green beans next. Our pediatrician advised us to skip cereals and go straight to veggies (we did the same with his older sister). So far, i only feed him purees once a day during lunch time because he eats a whole 4oz jar in one sitting.
How much and how often do you feed your LO?

Olive hates food lol. With cereal she just let it sit in her mouth until it spilled out,so her ped said to try a purée. We did carrots and she is to the point that she seals her mouth closed when the spoon approaches 😂 
She'll get there eventually lol (those pics are before and after carrots lol)

So far my son has had rice cereal, then oat cereal and now he eats pureed chicken and beef. Soon he'll start sweet potato and butternut squash. He looooves the meat haha 🐄🐓 He's also chewed on pear and watermelon with his Terry Teether and loved that too 🍐🍉
