Unholy ?

My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for 4 1/2 months and we haven't gone all the way to full inter course. Sometimes when we make out and touch😏 afterwords I feel bad. Like it's impure or something. But I feel good and everything before and during. Has anyone ever felt like this? Advice?

Sex is part of the human experience. There is nothing shameful or dirty about sex.

If your religion tells you to abstain and you believe that, that by all means abstain. But don't believe for a second that sexual contact makes you dirty or impure. Your self worth is in no way determined by your body and sexual contact. Never let anyone tell you otherwise.

You used the word unholy so I kind of assume you are religious and that could be the reason. I feel the same way after my boyfriend and I get a little passionate, but not to full blown sex. I grew up in a Christian household and I still believe in it, but sometimes it doesn't make me feel good about myself and my choices. I choose to follow what I was taught and be okay with it, but at the end of the day you just have to sit with yourself and decide what you truly believe, and how strongly you believe those things. I wish you peace about any and all of your choices!💚

Not to be mean... it sounds like something is holding you back.

If it's your religion, find out what you believe in regarding sex and do some research on beliefs.

In some cases, it's the comfort within the partner. Assess your situation and find what makes you happy and what makes you uncomfortable to help sort out and justify feelings. IMO: your first time should be with someone important to you, but there is no need to stress on life partners at this time unless it's religious.

In some cases, it's just a loss of communication between partners.. if the other two options do not sound relatable, talk to your partner about what he feels and express your feelings of concern.

I know its different for everyone, but really to me sex isn't that big of a deal.There's no reason to feel embarassed or ashamed for doing sexual things as long as you both want to do them.If you feel bad because you're doing things and have only been together for 4.5 months, maybe set a limit to how far you'll go until you reach month milestones like you won't touch under clothes etc until the 6 month mark, no sex until 1 year, etc.
