abdominal pain - 35 weeks!

Having terrible abdominal pain every other day... Dr. Said it was round ligament pain but I thought that was more for 2nd Trimester. I am usually pretty pain tolerant but this will bring me to by knees or I have to sit/lie down.. the pain will begin on bottom of belly and  radiate either up my belly or down into my groin. One day I'll be fine and carry on as normal and then a day like today I don't wanna move! Anyone else experiencing this kind of pain?
