I work in a tattoo and piercing shop. What you have is an irritation bump and can happen while healing. We typically don't recommend putting a hoop into a fresh piercing until at least 6 months as a hoop has too much movement. I'd suggest talking to your piercer about switching your jewelry to a stud. Please don't soak,put aspirin or rub oils into your piercing. If you have implant grade jewelry then warm running water is more than enough and your body will take care of the rest. Also make sure to refrain from touching it or sleeping on it. ♡

There's a pinned post at the top of this group all about bumps and how to treat. To me it looks like a hypertrophic, so read the section on it and watch it! If it grows for too much longer it could be a keloid.

I also recommend visiting your piercer.

It's a keloid. Totally normal. Tea tree oil will take it away

I got mine done when I was 15 and it did the same thing. It just went away after a little while. I couldn't figure out why it did it or what to do to make it go away, but it didn't take too long and never did it again.

I got this bump on my nose piercing too and I called the shop that I went to and they said to make a warm salt water solution and hold it against the piercing. You could try that if you haven't tried the other options that were mentioned.

This Is gonna sound so gross but my step dad cut the bump off. Ever since then it has been fine. Sometimes I get a little bump going and I pop it, it bleeds a little, then I put hydrogen peroxide on it only once after I pop it and it's fine. I sure don't know if I'm doing a good thing or bad thing but it works.

Crush up an aspirin, put a drop of water in it to make a paste, put on your nose and let it dry/keep on a while. Makes the red go away and will suck out whatever is in the bubble. You can keep doing it until it goes away.
