Sippy Cups?

Question

I've been trying to introduce a sippy cup to our little guy (several times now), and he has a blast chewing on the rubber end of it, but has no idea he can get something out by sucking on it, hasn't tried that at all. Any suggestions on how I can help him figure it out?

My ebf baby take the sippy cup without a problem, the first few times it was difficult but then it was so hot he drunk 2 oz of water as a pro.  I use this bottle or nuk bottle but I believe the spout of the nuk is softer and switch them around between bottles.

My health visitor told me not to get the anti spill ones as this can be bad for their teeth and gums as they have to suck, we use a free flow and she can easily get the liquid out of the cup and she loves it!

I've just been letting my boys play with it to get used to it. They don't understand how to tilt back and suck on it. I have showed them a couple times but it's so different than a bottle that they aren't loving it yet. I do however use times tippee bottles and sippy cups so I can take off the handles and put them on the bottle. I've done that too while they're getting used to the handle  thing.

Then playing with them is a big thing. That is the first step to them to start drinking them. Let him just do this and he will start to realize. Kind of like the spoon when you are feeding... they will chew and play on it but before long they will learn it's to put food on it and it goes to your mouth.

Does he grab it and tilt it back? I had to help my daughter do that a few times.?
