asthma and pregnant. anybody going through?

Anybody have asthma and tend to have flare ups? I'm 17 weeks and experienced by far one of the worst yesterday. Went to the ER, was given steroids and a breathing treatment. I'm feeling a lot better but how do you nanage? I'm on steroids for a few days along with antibiotics. Diagnosed with Bronchitis.

You should see your asthma specialist routinely throughout pregnancy. I am a nurse at an asthma office and we see our pregnant patients every 2 months. Uncontrolled asthma is not good for mom or baby.

I feel ya girl, early in my pregnancy I was having constant flair ups and ended up with bronchitis too. It's a bummer and hopefully it gets better for you. I'm almost 29 weeks and it's cleared up a lot now. I barely even use my rescue inhaler now. My OB said that some women get better and some get worse in their asthma control with the fluctuating hormones during pregnancy.
