This is our first cycle of clomid and I've been monitoring my ovulation closely With the clearblue opk every morning at the same time. Today is day three with a smiley face. Is that normal? Should we still be doing the bd?

Is it a flashing smiley face or a static one? Flashing smiley means it's detected a change in hormone and you are highly fertile during this time. A static face means you are going to ovulate within the next 48hrs. I usually get around 5-8 days of flashing faces before I get my static one😊Good luck!

If it's digital then the smiley will stay for 24-48 hours and then should disappear. Usually when you get a solid smiley face you would have sex on that day and then the nest two days also.
