What do you think about marriage?

Well, I got married 5 years ago. But recently we found out (my husband and I) that we have a different perspective of what a marriage is. For me is just a contract. For him is a lifetime option and all the ideas that comes with that. I got really surprise.

Ps: we don't have problems for this topic. Just wanna know what is for you girls a marriage.

For me, it's a lifetime commitment. I wouldn't get married if I thought we would break up in the future. I'm not married yet but my boyfriend and I have been through quite a lot in the past 5 years and we've worked through our problems. That's how I think a marriage should be. Two people who make the choice to be together and solve problems that come their way. However, I know things can change and if any abuse or infidelity ever happened, I'd be outta there so fast.

I have more reason to believe the contrary, however I still want to think marriage is forever with someone you don't ever want to leave you. Plus thinking in terms of being with your friend for the rest of your life actually makes it seem less daunting and more possible

I think marriage is important and you should hopefully marry someone with the intent to be with them forever. But a lot of stuff often doesn't work out and I think splitting up often is the better option for both people so you can null that contract
