Yeast infection or allergic to certain condoms?

I get yeast infections. I don't get them often but when I do, they are horrible. Me and my boyfriend had sex yesterday and he used a condom for the first time since we have been together. (Why, I don't really know). During sex, it really started to hurt with the condom on. After wards its hurt ever since. I woke up and now I feel like I have a yeast infection or something. It itches and burns really bad. How do I know the difference between if I have a yeast infection or if I am allergic to the condom we used?

you may be allergic.  I am allergic to latex condoms and get similar reactions.  treat with monostat.  if symptoms go away you probably weren't allergic

You could be allergic to that particular condom or condoms period. Try using lamb skin condoms. Also, could be a lack of lubrication and it caused irritation inside and any throw off inside can cause a yeast infection! Also you could just have candida problems. Good way to test is spit in a cup of water (glass cup so you can see) fill it half way (use a bottle water) as tap contains chemicals. If you spit starts to forms strings and eventually sinks to bottom like mucus you have a problem with candida. You can look into this by searching "candida saliva test" .
