I had my son two years ago. Currently pregnant with second child. My BIL is going with his lady tonight to be induced for their very first baby..yay!

Well, my BIL asked my MIL to be in the delivery room. My husband, just yesterday, found out that she is no longer allowed in there because the mothers mother will be and possibly her sister. And now, everyone besides her family has to wait to see the baby until Atleast Tuesday, which will make the baby a day old. I don't see the problem. I can see where my MIL would be upset over now not getting to be there.. but I just don't see the big deal in just letting them be comfortable in what company they choose for the first day.

And than after two years my MIL told my husband yesterday how she was mad that she couldn't be in the labor room with me.. but no one got to be unless you were going to watch the delivery.. not even my mother was in there. And she said she wasn't happy that we wanted everyone to wait a couple days to come to our house so we could just have our time with him. All this is suddenly coming out and now I feel I'm just going to be equally as stressed when this baby gets here in December because how she is acting now over two years ago and my nephew.
