So my mom found out last week that I've had sex with my boyfriend (I'm 17 turning 18 in December and he's turning 19 only July 6) because she found a note in my wallet to a clinic (after the first time I had sex w my bf I went to check to make sure I was std free). I thought I was being responsible and taking charge of my own sex life because she refuses to put me on birth control but in her opinion I'm not. I'm not a bad daughter but she's not understanding and always is snooping through my things so it's hard for me to open up to her. She took my car away, my debit cards, phone, and computer because of this and then told my dad. My dad walked into my room today and said he was ashamed of me and won't pay for my college. They think of me like I'm going to get pregnant or I'm going down the wrong path.. they are no where near understanding and I've never had a close relationship w my parents but they are always working. Why am I being punished?
