My son Hates when I stop his feeding to burp him. Like the word hate is mild for his reaction to it. He is EBF and I try to burp before switching sides but he kicks and screams so hard that I have to give up and just put him on the other boob. When he falls asleep at the second boob I then try to burp him and it's the same thing. I feel awful cause he does get gassy but sometimes it's a battle I can't win. I'm not giving him gas drops or colic/gripe water. My pediatrician doesn't really believe in them. But it's just sooooo frustrating for the both of us.
