Not crawing?

My baby just turned 11 months. And doesnt crawl. Im constantly worried about it! He rolls like mad, and drags himself a little but doesnt get his knees under him. Happening to anyone else?

My daughter is the same! She does a funny scoot, pulls up and is trying to cruise, but has no interest in being on her hands and knees. I was worried too, but our pediatrician assured us that it's very common and normal. Some babies are just not into it! Don't worry. 😊

I was told that the most important part is their attempts to move -- so if they drag themselves, roll around or crawl, it doesn't matter - as long as they are getting from one place to another with intention

My lo isn't crawling either and a few weeks ago he just started going on to his knees rocking then falls down and back to army crawling. He isn't interested in pulling himself up and when he tries to cruise around the furniture  (which we don't have a lot for him to do anyways) he gets too ahead of himself and falls. I think the best thing is to just be there and as long as they are happy then just go with it :) don't worry too much your lo will get there. I know my sister didn't actually start walking until she was 17 months. Probably just happy with what he is doing.

Our friends little girl walked before she crawled. Some babies do it "later" or skip it altogether and it's okay. Your little one is just fine I'm sure :)
