how dark does a test have to be .

I posted this pic in the faint lines and was met with ppl being not so kind about me not knowing.This is the first test i have taken with what may be a positive result and im wondering if im seeing things, if not is a line that faint trust worthy? Also i heard to not so good things about the blue dyes. Side note: i didnt miss my period yet so im extra confused if i should trust it . Please help just a newbie trying to get some answers without getting her gamily all worked up
