How many days past ovulation is a test accurate. I know waiting for a late period is the best option but i just don't want to wait that long

I'm a pee on a stick addict so I test from 8dpo but I've never had a positive before 10dpo

There are tests like first response where you can test early but remember you will probably get a negative even if you are pregnant. I wouldn't test before 9dpo really.
