Why is this?

So I asked a question a few days ago about thick white discharge on the tampon applicator during the light days of my period. I have pcos so I don't get my periods often. This has never happened to me before at all.. I have also been really dry down there, to the point where it hurts. I've been putting Aquaphor on it every day & that seems to help. But I stopped bleeding 2 days ago.. But then that night & the past few days has been very light pink spotting. Not enough for a tampon but enough for a liner. Is there anything I should be concerned about? Should I make an appt or is this pretty normal?
