how much is your gym membership?

My husband wants a gym membership that is between 40-60 depending on how long your contract is. I'm curious, is that too expensive? He just wants weights pretty much.

$50 a month for two adults at our local YMCA

It depends. I pay $29 and my hubby pays $34. I work for the city so I get a bit of a discount. Depending on where you live, $40-60 is totally reasonable, especially if he is going to commit to it. You really can't put a price on being healthy, in my opinion. $60 a month for the gym is cheaper than going to the doctor all the time!!
