I'm going to get an IUD put in for the first time tomorrow & I want to tell my Dr about my ppd because I really want to get help with it. I'm so over this being sad bull shit. I just have no idea how to tell my Dr. How have you ladies brought it up to your Drs? Like what did you say? And also what did they do about It? Did they refer to see someone else? Did they medicate you? Did they run some tests to see if it's hormonal or a thyroid issue?

Update: I didn't do it. I couldn't do it. I didn't realize getting an IUD put in was such an ordeal. I never mentioned ppd to my OB. I do have an appointment with a new family physician though next week. Maybe I'll be able to do it then.
