birth control fail?!

I'm on the pill & currently on the white ones so I should be starting it after today I only have two white ones left & I usually always start on the third white pill but I haven't. Have any of you gotten pregnant on the pill? I'm a little nervous, don't really want to be on pregnant again just yet lol.

I got pregnant with my first while religiously taking the pill. It's not 100% effective.

It’s not a %100 but for me to be extra safe I make him pull out no matter what to prevent pregnancy and I’m too of that I use spermicide in lube

Sometimes on the pill, your period isn't always predictable. I had a few months throughout my seven years on it that I would start later than normal. If you don't start at all, just take a test.

It's technically 99.9% effective if you take it every day at the exact same time. So there are odds you could be pregnant.

Both of my older children were birth control babies (first orthotricyclen and second ortho evra) so it is possible. Your body chemistry and hormones as well as how religiously you take it or what other medications you are in can affect how effective hormonal birth control is. If it turns out to be a false alarm I'd switch to a copper IUD to be safe (I had one for 10 years with no adverse affects and was obviously affective as BC).
