where did your kid go when you were in labor

Hi Moms with Multiple kids. When you went into labor, did you bring your kid with you to the hospital or wait for someone to come get them? Also what if it was in the middle of the night?   Thanks!!

My mother in law is coming down to stay for a week or more. Usually my kids go with my inlaws last time my done came before I was set for a c section my father in law met us at the hospital.

My sister's BF came up and got my little girl when I went in to labour my brother and sister in law was going to have her but my sister in law was working and my brother was taken me in to hospital. Xx

My mom will have my daughter but the hospital where I deliver do allow sibling in the room and allow them to spend the night in the room as long as someone else is with you

When I had my son (baby #2) my mom actually lived upstairs from us so she took my daughter and brought her to the hospital once baby boy arrived. However, with this pregnancy we are 3000 miles from my parents. We've decided to have a home birth and my friends are helping with the kids. My bff moved here as well and is on call for my two oldest.

My husbands step sister will be coming to our house to take care of our daughter, and our pets. If it's the middle of the night she better answer her phone! If not we will take our daughter to the hospital until we can get a hold of someone. Luckily we have quite a large support system... some family member or friend that can come over.

Omg I wondering the same I live in Mexico and I have my son who lives with us full time and my step kids we have a plan there mom will come get them as for my son he can stay home by him self but not over not so I'm not sure the good thing is he is well behaved and can be anywhere and not noticed

I had a family member agree to come watch him and get him on the bus the next day. It was a midnight run and she came anyway.

I was induced with my first and second. So for me I made arrangements to have him stay with my MIL at the time while we were at the hospital. This time around my parents are planning on coming down the weekend I will be induced and in the evenings they will go to their dad and step moms house while I am at the hospital. But a friend from church has told me that if something happens before induction day she would be glad to come over and stay with them til their dad could come pick them up.
