My boyfriend really doesn't seem to practice what he grew up in (Church of Christ) but wants us to attend that church, in which I just don't feel comfortable in. They seem very condemning & judgemental & I prefer to go to nondenominational church. He thinks every other church is Baptist & loud and faking a show. He believes instruments & choirs are not biblical. (Even though he barely reads the bible for himself, his mother even said that's not right&she still goes to that church) I'm pretty much trying to get back to the Lord and he's trying to get back to that church. I want to marry him & I know the husband is the head of the household. I'm praying if he should be the head of me (after Christ of course). I know it's never too late to come back or come to the Lord so that's why I'm praying now.

Has anyone gone through something similar?
