Doppler advice??

Question

Any advice with a Doppler? We have one and I still can't find peanuts heartbeat. The product says find as early as 10-12 weeks and I'm 10 today!

It is hard but I was able to do it at 10 weeks! I watched tons of YouTube videos! Start at your pubic hair line and start in the middle. You will have to give some pressure and make sure you're swirling the doppler cause you may be able to hear better at an angle. You can move side to side or a little lower. If you hear a wooshing sound like the wind, that's the placenta and the baby should be close by. If you hear a fast galloping beat, that's the baby. If you go too far to the left side of your body you will hear your heartbeat. So try to stay Center most of the time. It takes a while to get the hang of it but I was able to find my baby in like 5 seconds. It's do-able at 10 weeks! Watch YouTube videos! Good luck!

I had to search really low. I found my little ones heart beat at 8 weeks. I'm 10 weeks now and can find it no problem but the Doppler won't tell me the beats per minute yet. I jus hear it. Search low and don't get discouraged!! You will find it. :)

11 wks today and found mine literally right at the top where my pubes start in the middle and found it rather quickly

My doctor wouldn't even look for my babies heart beat when I was 10 weeks... she said the baby is so small and can hide so well that the chances of her hearing the heartbeat were slim. She said it would most likely just stress me out (which is would have) so we are waiting until my next appointment when I'll be 14 weeks.
If you are going to find it, I've heard it's much lower than you would think it would be.

I tried one and I was able to hear the heart beat at 11 weeks. It was really hard to find. I basically started right above my pubic area in line with my belly button and moved slowly from side to side, holding the wand in a place for a few seconds and rotating it around. It can be really tricky and there are a lot of different sounds in there. There are plenty of videos on YouTube but here is the one I followed:

It's doable but can be really hard. I found my babies heartbeat at about 9 weeks the other day but it was for a split second because baby must have moved

So, I know this sounds crazy but just hear me out...try it vaginally. I had gotten one and found the heart beat through my tummy at 10 weeks. But I only found it once and after that I was trying and trying for a week. I could only find my own pulse, never the baby. I was freaking out thinking maybe it was a missed miscarriage. My husband suggested we try sticking it up there because he was thinking of our first sonogram. 
Here's what we did... we put some of the gel on it and then wrapped it in a (clean, obvious) ziplock bag. My husband inserted it and we heard the heartbeat right away. It's not something I'm planning on doing again but it definitely calmed my nerves! I was so glad that baby was ok and promised myself I won't touch the doppler again until I'm 14 weeks!

I didn't find mine until 12 weeks, and it was veeery quiet. I've heard you aren't supposed to use it until 12 weeks, that's why doctors and midwives wait until then to listen.
Wait two weeks and try really low. I found mine at the very edge of my pubic bone at 12 weeks and now higher at 13 weeks.
