Who knows their s/o has an engagement ring for them but just doesn't know when they'll pop the question?

Lmao, I'm just wondering since my BF has a ring for me (He made me go back to where he was since I was shopping in a different store, made me try a ring on and ask if I liked it; to me I don't care as long as he picks it out from his heart ^^, then made me look away as he purchased it) 😂

He likes to tease me and say "you won't know when I'll ask you! That's one surprise secret I'm keeping to myself!" (He's usually not good at surprising me).

I don't know for sure there is a ring...... but all of a sudden we started getting letters and advertisements addressed to him from a jewelry store. He is the one that checks the mail most of the time, but when I've randomly gone and checked it there has been something from the store, I guess when he checks the mail those letters just don't make it inside. It has been like a year now though since I saw the first letter, so as long as he's not buying for someone else haha!

I knew my husband had the ring and I knew the day he was going to ask when we were headed to go hike lol 
He didn't flat out tell me but I knew he already had the ring and then all morning he kept telling me "this hiking trip will be your favorite one forever" and stuff like that so I pretty much knew

My fiancée pretty much did the same thing.  We were at the mall and picked one out then sent me on my way while he talked to the sales lady for an hour.  Then we left.  That was back in October.  Then 3 weeks ago he changed his mind got a completely different ring and finally proposed.  He couldn't keep it a secret because he was so excited and told me over the phone on my way home from work lol

I knew about the ring bc when he came back to the states from a family wedding he told me to close my eyes, and slipped it on my finger to make sure it fit.  We had talked about getting engaged the next year but he popped the question a couple days after that and the day after he asked my dad for my hand. So I was still totally surprised.
