Which name?

My husband and I have a handful of favorite names but can't decide. I am of Scandinavian heritage- which is reflected in many of our names. Our last name starts with a G and is spelled in a very non friendly way. While Erik rhymes with our last name it may simplify people's pronounciation (Gerik). What is your opinion?

We are using Erik if we have a son :) Björn is lovely but I feel it has its place in the world and to me it isn't a name outside of scandanavia
