Husband inserted foot into mouth

We just got into a heated argument, I'm a hard head and don't let anyone control any part of me, I allowed that once before and it broke me so bad that it took me 3 years to regain trust in myself and confidence. So I don't ever wear skimpy clothes in public I'm 30 years old with a 9 year old child so I stay modest and set the image i want for my daughter. Well she is gone for a month and momma wants to play, so I'm laying on the couch with some booty shorts on and my husband says your ass is hanging out seriously, and i respond with ok and I'm in MY HOME not in public what's your deal, he wants me to throw em away, i told him hell no I'm not I've these for 5 years and you're not going to dictate my clothes, so he wanted to come to walmart and i was still irritated so I went and pulled my hair up stripped my make up off and put on baggy clothes, and he said what the hell are you doing i said well let this be a lesson learned to not dictate when I do try and dress sexy and cute for you and expect me to throw my clothes away, because this is what you're going to walk around with. So I get in the car and he's embarrassed walking with me.
