got in a small fight with my bf

So I graduated 6 months ago with a healthcare administration degree and I've been applying for jobs and one of the jobs that I applied too is a swimming school called aqua tots I just wanted to get a temporary job until I get something related to my field and they called and I got an interview so I told my boyfriend and he got mad because he was telling that the pay isn't much and plus I have to work 6 days a week ,8 hours a day but they do have part time anyway he said that first it's not related to my major second I need to wait for something better and j deserve something better than this job and I told him I just need a job for now to get out of the house and do something in my life, the job is going to be swimming instructor and customer service
