When did you finalize on a name???

We had a huge running list of names before we found out the gender at 19w3d. We thought that after finding out we were having a boy, it would be so much easier to narrow down and finally decide! Now 24w3d....we haven't even talked about names in a while and just call him baby now haha.

Just wondering if anyone else kind of went through this or if most people would've picked a damn name already!!

We decided the night we found out it was a girl. My husband probably would have let it go for quite a while, but I wanted to talk about it. We ended up choosing a name that wasn't on either of our early lists... the first name came to us the week before we found out it was a girl, but it definitely wasn't the front runner until that night, and then the middle name came to us that night and it just felt right immediately whereas every other name had felt like one of us was compromising. I just think if you talk about it often and keep an open mind eventually something just works all of the sudden in a way none of the other ones did.

Omg I talked about it before we even started trying. We finalized the names when we did start trying and tomorrow we find out if we have a Benjamin  Thomas or a Sofia Grace!

My husband and I have a short list of names with one favorite. We aren't going to finalize our little girl's name until she's born, though.

We decided the day we found out I was pregnant, and changed those names about three and a half months ago. We recently found out we're having a GIRL, so we're going with our revised girls name that we love! We chose Nicolai for a boy, and Marley for a girl. 🎀

I'm 30 weeks now and we did the same thing. Decided on a few for each before we knew the gender and now that we know we still haven't decided between two, but are leaning towards one. I am scared to finalize it!
