My baby made me cry.

Brittany
My little boy is 9 months old. He was 6 weeks early, coming home at 3 pounds 11 ounces. As if that wasn't scary enough, his dad and I have gotten told that his gross motor skills would be behind because he wasn't hitting certain "milestones" at certain times. At his 9 month appointment his pediatrician asked us if he was crawling and pulling himself up yet. We told him that he wasn't. We were left with "well I'm not gonna worry too much about it as long as by 15 months he's at least crawling."
I remember leaving feeling sad for my baby because of course no momma wants to hear anything that even sounds remotely negative about their child. The next afternoon, I stopped by his daycare after work to pick him up so we could go home. AND YALL... the moment I walked in, my little boy saw me and he instantly smiled and CRAWLED RIGHT ACCROSS THAT ROOM OVER TO ME! I knelt down in total shock with tears pooring down my cheeks just thanking God. All the teachers cheered him on and of course they're tearing up just looking at his crazy momma sobbing her eyes out. 😂🙈 It was truly a moment I will never forget. And if I could go back in time to all the worrying, I'd tell myself as well as any mom out there that your baby will do things when they're ready and there's absolutely no rush! My little boy made me cry. And it was the best ugly cry I've ever made. ❤️
