1 shot of depo....

I wouldnt recommend getting depo shots for birth control. Even tho its great not having to remember taking a pill every day 1 shot of depo messed up my hormones...

The plan was to do 2 rounds of depo cuz i didnt want to get pregnant before my wedding... i took the shot Jan 2016 (my wedding was end of Aug that year). After I got the shot and read the pamphlet i was shocked to read that it can take 6months to 2 years to get pregnant after your last shot. Reading that made me concerned as I did want to get pregnant right after i got married. The 3 months I had no period and 2 months after the depo was supposed to be out of my system, it messed up my hormones.. light periods or no periods at all. I surprisingly got pregnant the month before my wedding, however at 15.5 weeks I lost my baby to Turner's syndrome. They say it was a fluke but who knows.. all i know is that my hormones was messed up for a while. Never again.. but I am pregnant again 7 months after my mc. Hoping this baby sticks and is healthy!
