second labor?

Ok so I had my bloody show yesterday and then again today? I didn't think it could happen twice but it definitely did for me... after I had it with my first born he was born that night... this time around I thought I was in early labor having consistent contractions that ended up disappearing after a few hours.... still losing more plug and blood... at my appt Monday I was 90% effaced and 4cm dilated... thought for sure labor would've happened by now I'm so confused what's going on?
