Breakup help

I was going out with this guy for about 3 months. In the first 2 months, all was fine, and we were getting to know each other. He was like the kind of person of feels at ease talking about anything... then I went on vacations for 5 days and when I returned he started to go distant and postpone our meetings, barely texting or talking and then only to make or cancel plans... he didn't even respond to sexy talk... Literally backing out... This weekend he told me - again - he couldn't meet because of work and them I found out - thanks facebook tags - that he had been out with friends. I kind of knew since the said holidays that he would split, so no surprise there, it was just a matter of time... he gave me the speech that we were casual and I should find someone for a relationship because I was such a cool woman blablabla... I don't love him or anything like that... I just miss spending time with him because when we started hanging out I kind of viewed him as a new friend and we probably would have been good ones if we hadn't slept together... even before we did that, I got the habit of texting him everyday and it kind of sucks not to do that... I also would like to ask him when and why he decided that we were not "relationship material", cause I'm curious... Someone talk me out of texting him, because I really want to...
