how long did you wait to tell people?

i just found out that i am pregnant with my first!
i am dying to tell people, but want to be cautious too and wait for ultrasounds, genetic screenings.
how long did you all wait to tell people? did you have tiers, like, parents and close friends right away, then more extended people later?

A lot of people say 12 weeks but it's whatever you wanna do. I told people I was pregnant when I was 7 weeks. I couldn't contain it lol I found out when I was 5 weeks so those two weeks killed me 😂

Yes I definitely had tiers. Hubby, close friends, family, other friends, church family, Facebook.

I told close family and friends and work right away. I only told work so soon because I had lost my last pregnancy really early on the first time and we were doing fertility meds so it required me to either leave work early or come in late a few times. And I honestly believe they worked with me so well because I was up front with everything right away.

I waited until 11 weeks to announce it on Facebook to everyone else though. I was going to wait a couple more weeks but I went out of state with some friends for a baby shower and I was already showing at that point (we're having twins) and I knew pictures would be posted up. But honestly we had really strong heartbeats every time we went in so I wasn't worried about losing this pregnancy since my specialist worked so hard to make sure I had large eggs and a thick uterean lining this time around.

I told the family I live with immediately and then waited like to 12 weeks to announce to the rest.

Parents and our grandparents were told as soon as the blood test confirmed the pregnancy, but we announced to everyone else after the 12 week scan and of course the bloods :)

Girl I just found out I was pregnant yesturday! (This is my first one💙💙💙) I have my appointment on Monday. My husband and I are trying to figure out when to tell everyone also!!!! Lol we only told our 3 close friends first. We live 8hours away from family so we want to make sure everything is good to go Monday and see what the doc says and then gauge it from there:) so happy for you!!!

Parents were told at 10 weeks, everyone else on day 100 of the pregnancy not including very close friends who knew before the 100 day mark 🎀

We just found out over the weekend, we told the family members we are close to. Our first appointment is Tuesday & if everything looks good we may announce it to others. We haven't decided yet.
Miscarriages are common in my family, so I'm kinda nervous about it. I am very excited and want to tell anyone and everyone who will listen! But I also don't want to tell everyone and then something happen. So it just depends. 
Do whatever you feel! It's your announcement, your decision! ☺️
