when did u start inducing natural labour

Hey all, I am 29 wks with twins. When did u all start natural remedies to go into labour? How many weeks were you? What natural remedies worked for u?

I've had strawberry leaf tea for my other pregnancies but my kids were still over due ( Iam thinking maybe I started drinking the tea too late. I started when I was 37weeks) and I really think the tea never worked for me.

I really don't want to be induced again with twins. I just wish they would come on ther own. Doctors said I have until I am 38wks.

Help a girl out am so worried about the pain waiting for me

It's not a good idea to even attempt to induce your own labor until after 37 weeks, which is when babies are considered full term. It is especially not advisable with twins! Unless there is a medical reason, or you've passed 42 weeks, doctors simply don't advise trying to speed things up. Babies will come when they're ready, and with multiple births, having premature birth is pretty common.
Just wait it out. If you can't, please ask your OB for safe ways to try

I took evening primrose oil tablets orally from 36 weeks and began nipple stimulation for an hour two times a day at 37 weeks. I went into natural labour late in the afternoon at 37w2d and had baby early morning 37w3d. Total 11 hours of labour. I dilated very quickly, the doctors were pretty shocked lol, and I think I dilated so fast because of the evening primrose oil helping to soften my cervix (:

Is there a certain reason why you don't want to get induce? I'm having my first baby and my doctor wants to induce me next week since I'm overdue. Just curious. And congrats to you:)

I've read that eating food to six dates a day starting at week 36 will help to naturally thin your cervix which leads to natural labor over induction. I will start doing that soon (I'm almost 35 weeks). I would suggest you do it this early, 29 weeks is still to soon, especially with twins.
