Can people please stop acting like just because I or other people do not like dogs/animals that I or other people will be bad parents?!! I personally hate dogs, does that mean I will be a bad mom and treat my kids the same way I do dogs? NO! Kids are completely different to me. I have all kinds of love and patience for children, I don't for dogs and other animals. Not liking dogs or animals doesn't mean shit on my parenting!! So stop saying "I hope you aren't thus way with kids" because I'm not! 😠
Oh my effing hell ladies. That statement doesn't mean I freaking hurt dogs! I just don't treat them like I love them. Meaning, I don't pet, play, love on, or anything to a dog. I would play with and love on a child, never a dog because I don't like them. Freaking assumptions 😒

I don't really like dogs either and I have an 8 month old that I adore!
I used to enjoy them mostly before I had my daughter, but now I find them irritating. I like my grandma's dog though, she is super chill. I just don't like how they jump and lick and sniff in odd places. I just push them away but I haven't had any backlash from it yet

It doesn't mean you will be a bad mom.  I hate when people say that animals aren't the same thing.  Some people will never be able to have kids.  Their pets are their kids.  Until you have an animal wake you up in the middle of the night because something scared them and they want mommy hugs you cannot possibly understand.  Yes my first child is a dog but he is my world!  I love that little guy like a child!  I had my daughter in August and the love they have for each other melts my heart!  You don't have to like animals but you do need to have compassion and understanding towards them.  They are living beings

I kinda know what you mean. I've never been told I'll be a bad mother because of it, but I don't like animals much. I don't hate them, but I'm allergic to pet dander. It gives me sores all over, I get stuffy, itchy & sometimes get sick. I won't kick at an animal or anything, but I try to keep my distance. A lot of people think I'm a monster because of it.
