Question...D&C surgery?

I'm wondering if any of the ladies on here have had Dilation and curettage (D&C;) of their uterus?

If you have, what was it for and would you do it again? Did it help you?

I have horribly painful periods - like not normal - not able to move, throwing up from the pain - painful periods. I went to a gynecologist and had a bunch of tests done but they could not find any signs of endometriosis which makes no sense to me.

I spoke with another gynecologist/obstetrician and she said that another option could be doing a D&C; which may or may not improve things.

Help y'all! I'm scared to do any kind of procedure but if it's going to help me then I feel like I should try. Thoughts?
