How early does home PT pop up?

So my friend called me this morning saying she thinks she's pregnant. (all of her other friends are) well she said she took a home PT and it popped up hours later. Says she Took another today and came out positive. But then she said she went to the hospital and her results came back that she's a week pregnant? I thought with a home PT it was like impossible to show up when you're that early??

You can't be a week pregnant. For the first 2 weeks of pregnancy you haven't even actually conceived yet since it's counted from the first day of your last period

If she was a week pregnant that means she would be conceiving right now.

If it popped up hours later then she likely saw the evap line, not a positive. If the second test was definitely pink or blue immediately then it is possible she's pregnant but her hgc wasn't high enough for Dr's test to pick up on it. She should wait a few days and test again at home and definitely go ahead and start a prenatal vitamin.
