Is this weird/wrong?

My cousin (who has a 2 yr old daughter from a previous relationship) has been dating a guy for about 9months. Over the Holiday weekend we had a BBQ  and the 3 of them had came over. My cousin starts telling a story and she said "David and Ashley were in the shower together" and continues the story. I was instantly put off guard that this guy had been showering with her 2 yr old daughter. Am I wrong for be a little concerned by This? My daughter showered with my husband until about 2,but that's her Father so its completely different. What's even more concerning is her new boyfriend was once accused of sexual molestation about 5 years ago,so why even take the chance? Should I speak to her or drop It? I get it,not my life or business but I can't turn a blind eye when something aots with me uneasy,especially if it has to do with kids!

Honestly upfront her because as you say its different if its the dad but he isn't and I wouldn't want someone who has even been accused around my child anyways

Ehhhhh tough call, the previous accusation of sexual molestation is really the alarming thing here. I think it has the potential to be totally innocent even though he isn't her dad, but idk about him being creepy with other kids 😐

The accusation of molestation is what freaks me out here. My SO doesn't shower with my son but he does help him with baths or getting dressed if he needs it. He's 6 now so he doesn't need much help. It really depends on the relationship they all have. That accusation should really be looked at closer though!

There is no justifiable reason for a grown man to shower with a young girl. Even if I had a son I would not let him bathe with my daughter. My husband doesn't even bathe our daughter because it doesn't matter whether biological or not I've heard too many stories. And you also don't want to have this child thinking it is okay for men to bathe with her.

I think it's weird. My SO doesn't nor ever has showered with our daughter, but that's more of his comfort level thing. I wouldn't feel weird if he was okay with it because it is his daughter, I shower with both my kids... I wouldn't feel comfortable showering with someone else's ... I think it's odd he's okay with it, especially a girl vs a little boy. To put my opinion in perspective I think it's okay for opposite sex parents to bathe their children and I would think it's okay for her BF to help the little girl bathe, (wash and rinse her hair, tell her to make sure she washes all her parts, help her out of the tub etc.) I also think it's okay for opposite sex siblings to bathe together (until a reasonable age). Another factor that is alarming is he's had a history with indecent behaviors with children. Why would your cousin brush that under the rug? And even if she was all but certain it was bogus why create a situation that is unsavory, especially involving your own child??? I feel like she is being pretty daft and negligent. And how do you know about his history? What were the circumstances and outcome? Is she that lonely that she will settle for the company of someone who might be a pedophile?
