Gender reveal party ideas?

I see so many tacky gender reveal parties and I just want mine to be cute and tasteful any decorating ideas? 
Or should I do a restaurant party

I had mine at my house as a BBQ. I hung up Us pictures, got a pull apart cupcake cake of two rattles (pink and blue), did pink and blue silverware/cups/plates/napkins/table cloths, got Hershey bars and colored the He blue and the she pink, put out rubber duckies, and put up some pink and blue streamers. We revealed with ball that exploded in blue powder when it hit the ground. It was awesome!! Oh and we out blue and pink balloons on our mailbox.
