Cash assistance?

Okay I'm only 21 weeks pregnant but have been having a hard time finding a job since before I became pregnant I'm always looking and applying and calling still nothing. I need bills paid and food and things for the baby ....I'm going crazy broke like this and SO having a hard time find a job also, we're lucky landlord is working with us....should I apply for cash assistance through welfare until I find a job? Does anyone know any info about it? Like will I qualify, how much and how often, do you got to pay it back, etc...I live in ohio. 
Update-----And he quit his last job due to a chemical reaction and he's been applying also. And i really been applying everywhere and now our phones are turned off and they will eventually cut our utilities off of we don't start paying and I'm so stressed out and idk if any job have tried calling recently due to our phones being off so any new jobs we apply we put his parents number so if we go over there they can tell us if any called. We applied to fast foods and all Walmarts in our area. I wouldn't want to think about getting assistance unless I was in desperate need.

I know there is a taboo associated with welfare and assistance, but that's because of people taking advantage of the system. Sometimes circumstances happen that are beyond our control, and social services are there to assist in getting people back on their feet. There is no shame in utilizing the services that are available to you until your life is back in your control. Definitely look into WIC because that can help you while you're pregnant and through your baby growing up a bit. Also apply for welfare and food stamps. You can also check with local food banks and churches, they often have donations to help you and your family get by. I would start with WIC because they can point you in the right direction for other services in your area. I'm sorry, I live in Arizona so I can't provide any more specific help. But speaking as a social worker, there is no shame in taking help when you need it. Good luck 💜

I would you are entitled since you are pregnant. Food stamp. Wic. Tanf. Section 8 housing or at least a hotel. Medicaid. Insurance. Check with catholic charities or crisis ministries for help with utilities and rent. Most women's shelters also churches offer free counseling if you need it. And other assistance as well. Since you are pregnant you should be able to qualify for some emergency assistance. Also is there a reason your SO is unable to find a job?
