Grinding sensation against pelvis and bones?

I heft a painful grinding sensation when I'm about to go to bed most nights. It really hurts and makes me cry a little.
It's a mix of shooting pains in my pelvis and a grinding sensation on the inside of my hip bones. The midwife said it's the baby's head, but this really hurts, has anyone else had it?

May I know what week are you in right now? When did you start experiencing that kind of pain? I am curious when will I experience it also because I still want to go to work until the day our baby arrives but I am too scared I won't be able to because of the hip pain. 😔

Baby has dropped. This happened with all my pregnancy. Sorry, it sucks. It just started with me too in this pregnancy and I was going to clean this week but I don't think that's going to happen. So frustrating.

I started to experience it yesterday night fr the 1st time n I was told it was Braxton hicks .. but was too scared 😳.. hope v could hav this often from now till our delivery..
