What would go do

I had a lot of set backs these last few months with fertility. Was told we are unexplained infertility, took clomid and since I already ovulate on my own it gave me cysts, found a polyp in June and had surgery to have that removed. Went to the doctor last week to make sure the cysts were gone so we can try IUI, one was gone and another shrank but we still have to wait another month. Well I'm supposed to go visit my dads uncle with my dad and sister for the weekend in august and it might fall around the time IUI/ovulation would happen. Should I just cancel IUI and go on the trip or do IUI and cancel going with them? The dates all depend on when my August period comes. I truly don't want to wait since I had so many setbacks already
