New to the pill

So I just started the pill almost a month ago, I'm like about a week away from when my period should be starting. But I'm having slightly colored discharge. It's a very very very light pink and there's not a lot, should I be worried? Could it just be my period starting early?? I'm not exactly sure

I have been taking the pill every single day, I have had sex a few times and always use a condom but I haven't had sex in the past couple days
