This is my sweet boy named Briar. We're having another baby and we honestly like the name Thorn, but everyone else I've asked says they don't like it and some thought we were joking 😂🙈

I personally don't like unusual names and prefer girly names for girls but if you like it, who cares what everyone else is telling you! If it get out of hand just tell everyone you're not announcing the name until baby is born xx

Here's the thing, you like the name? Name YOUR kid that name. It's your kid. People don't like it? Tough. 
The only advice I have is to pretend you're answering the phone with that name. "Hello! Thank you for calling (insert place of work), this is Thorn. How can I help you?" Pretend you're at a job interview and introduce yourself with that name. "Thank you, Mr. Smith. My name is Thorn (insert last name). Thank you for meeting with me." Women particularly have a tough time with getting respect in the work place. So if you think that there may be an issue with your daughter getting respect with ANY name, maybe choose a different name. But ultimately it's your child. So you make the final decision.

The name us cute but I know a girl named Thorn and she's constantly bullied and harassed for her name, my advice put Everly first and thorn as a middle name ps sorry if I miss spelled

I like it, however I wouldn't want my name to be thorn. I feel like I'd always be explaining myself and hearing rude comments.

Rebecca's comment makes a lot of sense. I've never thought about it that way. I like unique names too but maybe doing Thorn as a middle name would be a good way to go, Everly Thorn?
