when do you shower your baby

my baby cord fell of yesterday, she is 14 days today but still has some pieces inside and look fresh not dry at all, i am still cleaning it w alcohol but i wanna know when can i give her a good shower, do i have to wait untill all falls down?

i went to dr appointment today and gave me another medicine for the cord cause it has fallen down since saturday but looks fresh inside and said it could get an infection and looks like she is having trouble digesting my milk also so he gave her probiotics 😞 so i am going to give her lots of medicine evryday for a month

My little girl lost a part of it at 8 days, at first it looked fresh still so i left it alone. Now it looks dry and like the rest is about to come off. Haven't bathed her fully yet, just sponge bath.

Wait until all the cord bits have fallen off, and the belly button looks fully healed.
My daughter's stump fell off at 4 days, but would keep bleeding a little for 2 weeks after, so we had to wait until it was completely healed. It's not worth the chance of infection. The doctors advised us not to touch it at all, so we left if completely alone.
