Sex with ex boyfriend?

Okay so I'm in this situation right now that I'm 16 and I'm a virgin.. so my ex boyfriend just started talking to me again after 2 years of me and him dating and us seeing other people he's telling me that he broke up with his girlfriend and that he wants to try new things such as have sex. I don't know what to do cause I had already said yes to do it with him and he told me if i still wasn't ready he would wait for me but I feel like im going to make a bad decision and that I should wait till I find someone who really loves me and not just come out from the blue and tells me he wants to have sex. Any advice please ( just no rude comments )
