Cervical position after ovulation ?

What is your cervical position during and after ovulation . . Mine feels low , firm and slightly open .. And I've been cranking since yesterday on the left side.. How long after ovulation will the cervix rise and Be closed ? I heard after conception the cervix remains close and rises ..for some women it happens immediately and for some it happens after few days ..
