Family pressure

So I'm feeling a little pressured by my family. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and yes I'm curious about the gender of my baby but I want to find out with my husband when we can, but my mother and SIL (who works as a gin/ob assistant) are making appointments and pulling strings with the doctors to see the gender earlier.

Sadly my husband works mornings and evenings far from home ( 250km away) and he can't take more time this month to come see the ultrasound.

UPDATE: I talked to my mother and SIL and told them I preferred to wait and go with my husband, is our first child and we are very excited. Hubby wants to go with me to every ultrasound and doctor appointment.

Mom was ok. SIL not so much, she didn't understand why I would wait for hubby but this is my pregnancy and our baby so I'm not going.
