First Love is the Hardest?

I'm in my first relationship and I really love this man. He is my first love. I can't see anybody else beyond him so I'm not sure if I'm crazy or unrealistic. Can anyone else tell me their experiences of first love and moving on? I just want to be with him and feel like if we ever do end it , I'm going to be heartbroken for a really long time.

First loves usually fizzle out on their own. They're often more "puppy love" or infatuation anyway. If you break up, you will get over it. Trust me on that.

well don't fear losing him...because then you'll actually lose him. let me explain: 
if you fear losing him, you will create bad habits by being needy, clingy, and always seeking approval and reassurance. people do this without realizing it. now this can definitely break a relationship. so as much as you love him, just be independent & don't rely on him for happiness! he should be a source of that happiness, but not your complete source. 
do things for yourself & live your life! hang out with him but don't smother him. guys love "the chase", and have that mindset that HE is the one who is lucky to be with you. 
Yes. the first cut is the deepest, but you shouldn't be thinking about breaking up if things are okay. i personally do this to myself and it hurts my relationship so i'm trying to stop. 
just live in the moment and enjoy each other! and ALWAYS remain positive.
