Hi Brittany. I had a D&C; almost a year ago the procedure went well but I was pretty uncomfortable afterwards and sore for a while. Make sure to bring/wear comfortable clothes and you might want to bring some heavy and medium pads of your own. You will bleed some and the ones they give you at the doc are huge. Make sure you don't take any medicine (unless they specified that you could of course) or eat or drink anything before the procedure. Also make sure you have someone there with you to drive you home, get your prescription filled and listen to what the doc says afterwards because you'll still be fairly groggy. Also, I would bring a large bottle of water. They kept giving me snack size bottles and I probably went through about a dozen after I woke up. I hate you're having to go through this, if you need anything please reach out!

The procedure hardly takes about 20-30 mins. It doesn't hurt after but they recommend you take it a bit easy for a day or two.
