Period

My period was 4 days late, it came on today for a short period of time and when I mean short I mean like an hour, now it's stopped.

I am on the pill and this month I have forgotten to take it due to me being forgetful and just being quite upset as I recently got out of a relationship. So it has been all over the place, but I don't know why it is being like this as it was already late and then comes on for a bit then stops.

Do you think it is because of my pill? I did have a proper period last month and the last time I had sex was like the 6th of June and I've had a proper period already.

I did take it properly when I last had sex it's probably like a week later I started to forget.

Any suggestions why this is happening?
